Pet Paw Patrol

The Problem to Solve

Millions of devoted Americans cherish their pets, yet circumstances often arise that necessitate finding a trustworthy caretaker in their absence. Enter Pet Paw Patrol—an innovative application designed to assist pet owners in locating a qualified pet sitter. This platform serves as a valuable extension to existing pet sitting applications, providing pet owners with the assurance that their chosen sitter is well-equipped to deliver optimal care for their beloved pets.

Research

Over a 14-week period, we engaged in thorough research to identify our target users and discern the challenges faced by pet owners in securing reliable pet care. Through a combination of in-person and remote interviews, alongside a comprehensive survey involving participants from Millennials, GenZ, and GenX demographics, we gained valuable insights. Our findings indicated that this application has broad utility, catering not only to pet owners but also proving beneficial for veterinarians, doggy daycares, pet emergency care facilities, and various other stakeholders in the pet care ecosystem.

Design and Testing

Adobe XD and maze.design provided a framework for our team to be able to create mindmaps, mockups, high fidelity prototypes, and perform testing.

A prototype was created with a simple design contained in an easy to navigate application
We tested the prototype with 6 users from our demographic.

Iteration

As we progress, ongoing testing will persist, engaging with a diverse range of pet owners to gather additional valuable feedback. Stay tuned for the exciting launch of our application into the market!
