Mission/Problem:
Ellie, the beloved mascot and driving force behind Ellie’s Dog Bar, emerged from her owner’s frustration with the limited availability of dog-friendly establishments in Montana. Recognizing that dogs are considered a man’s best friend, it seemed perplexing that they were often excluded from numerous places. This frustration sparked the concept of Ellie’s Dog Park Bar—a visionary initiative aiming to provide a harmonious space where both dogs and their owners can revel in the joys of nature and feel at home.
Research:
During the design and testing phase, I utilized tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Google Survey, and Squarespace. These applications played a crucial role in developing the website, creating wireframes, and conducting surveys with initial users to identify areas for improvement. Subsequently, we introduced Google Ads to measure our market reach and refine the platform based on user feedback. Upon achieving our desired state, we conducted a soft launch, inviting users to sign up as members and providing an opportunity to gauge reactions to the innovative concept of a dog park bar.
Design and Testing:
During the design and testing phase, I utilized tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Google Survey, and Squarespace. These applications played a pivotal role in developing the website, creating wireframes, and conducting surveys with initial launch users to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
I developed wireframes to outline the layout and structure of the website or app, prioritizing simplicity and intuitive navigation. This ensures that users can easily access key features, including information about the dog park, membership options, and event details.
Following these assessments, we introduced Google Ads to measure the scope of our market reach and fine-tune the platform based on user feedback and preferences. Upon reaching our desired state, we conducted a soft launch of the initial site to observe user reactions and provide them with the opportunity to become members by signing up. This strategic approach allowed us to gauge user responses to the innovative concept of a dog park bar.
Iteration:
Moving forward, the testing and planning of the dog park bar persist. We envision its future home in Flathead Valley, Montana, as a dedicated tribute to Ellie. Our team remains committed to refining and enhancing the user interface for membership sign-ups and events information based on ongoing feedback received during our updates. By adhering to these steps, Ellie’s Dog Park Bar aims to guarantee a user-friendly and visually appealing digital platform that adeptly meets the needs of dog owners and their beloved canine companions.
